This is being relayed from a relief team in the field. There are now two Burma   Army Divisions operating in these areas, an increase of one division over the   usual amount of troops in this area. <\/p>\n<p class=\"title2\"> Contents <\/p>\n<p> 1) Landmine Victim report and photo <br \/>  2) Destroyed Rice Barn photo <br \/>  3) Previous Report: New Attacks in Western Karen State, Burma 20 March, 2006 <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"title2\"><span class=\"bodyCopy\"> Landmine Victim in Western Karen   State <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span class=\"bodyCopy\">As a result of resent attacks by the Burma Army, on   21 March 2006 at 6:00 p.m., villager Saw Du Shwe stepped on a land mine laid   by the Burma Army near Day Baw Kee Village, Keh Der Village Tract, Nyunglebin   District, western Karen State. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bodyCopy\"><span class=\"bodyCopy\"> Saw Du Shwe stepped on the landmine   at the following location; N 18d 16\u0092 50.9\u0092\u0092, E 96d 59\u0092 7.2\u0094. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bodyCopy\"><span class=\"bodyCopy\"> On 20 March 2006, the Burma   Army attacked Ler Wah area with the same troops (MOC 10,LIB 362,363 and MOC   16 with two battalions) who were in Keh Der Village Tract. The strength of these   troops is estimated to be 700-800 people, including porters. FORCING OVER 400 PEOPLE   TO FLEE THE LER WA AREA OF KYAUKKYI, NYAUNGLEBIN DISTRICT.
